I always cut off 2-1/2" strips from all my fabrics.
This month’s technique is based on strips from my stash.
Cut 8 strips of fabrics from two sets of coordinated prints.
Each strip is cut (2-1/2" x 8-1/2")
Here are my two sets of prints, 4 of each colour family. |
Sew 4 strips together, using scant 1/4" seams,
to form two sets of strips.

Each block should now measure 8".
Cut each block into half, diagonally, as in diagram. |
Take each new triangle and pair it up with the opposite one. Sew the opposing pairs together. |

This diagram has three sets sewn together. You can flip and make a few other variations. Let's see what you can come up with. |
